Delwest’s recently-opened Park Hill Station project in Denver is garnering national attention after Well Fargo Bank featured the affordable housing community on its Well Fargo Stories web site.

“Creating sustainable communities is extremely important — allowing people to spend less on housing and more on other necessary living costs while still having access to employment and education,” said Scott Horton with Wells Fargo’s Community Lending and Investment (CLI) group in the post. “By investing time and resources into a project like Park Hill Station, Wells Fargo is able to help transform the lives of many people in our communities.”

Wells Fargo’s CLI group invests debt and equity capital for economic development, job creation, and affordable housing in areas of need nationwide, and provided financing toward the completion of Park Hill Station.

The post includes a video featuring Park Hill Station resident and Denver native Camille Lewis, who works at Denver International Airport (DIA) and is able to commute to work via commuter rail.

Located near the intersection of I-70 and Colorado Blvd., Park Hill Station was one of Delwest’s flagship project for 2016. The community offers 156 affordable housing units, in addition to 168 units that lease at market rates, as well as easy access to public transportation and a convenient location along the new commuter rail line between downtown Denver and DIA.
